  4. 3/17/17: Forgive and forget

    It’s easier said than done. After all of the people that hurt you and all of the people you hurt, you try to forgive them and maybe you even try to forgive yourself. The mindset you live your life in is controlled by you. You can either pick to forgive, or you can continue to hate. Hate hurts, hate causes stress, honestly nothing positive comes out of hate. I know this because I have lived in the past for so long and it has caused unnecessary stress on my life and other relationships. Sometimes, you need to hate for a while so you can stand up for yourself on the inside and because everybody says this other person was in the wrong. Sometimes, you need to hate to realize what types of people are out there and which types of people you want to surround yourself with. Hate is ok for a period of time, but it is NOT ok to hate forever. Learn from what people have done to you and learn from what you have done to other people. You can change your ways because people CAN change, and I’m telling you it’s hard but not impossible. Let go of the hate in your heart, because hate is what will drive you and others around you into the ground. You can choose hate and see what happens, but I promise forgiveness is worth it.
